What TIME IS IT?!
All,
First time poster...howdy!
Please excuse me if this has already been mentioned, or is already in game, but how about an in-game CLOCK! WoW had one and i thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. (altho the rest of the game was a level-treadmill with very pretty graphics and unresponsive developers...but i digress.)
I don't know how many times i have to quit the game just to see what time it is. (yes, i know a clock in my computer room would solve the problem, but that's not the point.)
SO, is there a clock built-in the game, or does anyone else have any thoughts on the matter?
be careful out there,
-k

This has been suggested before, I don't mind if it is or isn't implemented, but I think many people would be happy.

Yeah it's kinda annoying, playing almost all bnet games for years I get
"Invalid Command" like crazy when I try to do /time. Then because I'm not thinking I think I typed it wrong so I do it again.
/time
Invalid Command
/time
Invalid Command
/time
Invalid Command
/ti.... oh...

It would be useful when planning events..
For example, If you have a guild where some members are American, some English and some Australian..You could just say "Our meeting is at 7pm GWST (Guild wars standard time. )"
That way, it eliminates all of the annoying time zone differences.

Or hit up a little ALT+TAB.... Guild Wars works perfectly... unlike several other games.

Actually although it's really not a huge thing this was truly the only thing I REALLY liked about WoW. It's nice to not have to minimize your screen just to check the time, and then you know that everyone is working off the same time.
Great Suggestion!

It's sad but yeah, there wasn't that much that I liked about that game... I just don't like games where I have to level for hundreds upon hundreds of hours before I can truly PvP, which is much of why I play these games. (and the PvP in WoW just isn't that great)

Only if you want the game to run like crap.
Adding a realtime clock which gets the time from your PC would be great.
But better idea would be a Time-Online clock... must have played for 6 hours yesterday and didn't even think about it. Would like to be to keep track of my gametime.

Crap? yea I guess 39fps is crap for a 1311x794 (wtf? :P) running on my main 1600x1200 monitor, with trillian , moonabies map and winamp on the other.
Tho I admit that I have to turn of AA in windowed mode tho.
And this isn't a very high end machine at all.

So does mine buddy boy, so stop commenting like I have a issue with mine, since it doesn't.
My point is that there are people with low specs machines playing this game as Windows Mode may not work well for them.
Not everyone has a uber gaming machine. Most people have low-med range ones.
